Display Stream Compression (DSC) is a technology that compresses video signals to reduce the amount of data transmitted, allowing for higher resolutions and refresh rates over the same bandwidth. It was introduced with DisplayPort 1.4.

The Thunderbolt 4 Slim Hub does not support DSC because its ports only support DisplayPort (DP) 1.2.
